I was born in the USSR, a multicultural utopia, to a Russian mother and Ukrainian father. I witnessed the collapse of the totalitarian state, which opened up new possibilities for the Soviet people. This transformative experience deeply influenced me and fostered my appreciation for art as a powerful tool of expression and cultural understanding.

After obtaining degrees in International Relations and Economics, I took up a corporate career in marketing and advertising. Over 12 years, I combined my analytical skills with creativity to develop exciting products that catered to the needs of consumers.

However, everything changed when I became a mother. I made the decision to leave behind the demanding corporate world and pursue my lifelong passion for art. I enrolled in painting and fine art studies at the Moscow Fine Art Academy.

Sadly, the downfall of the totalitarian state in Russia was followed by the rise of a new dictatorship. Due to political reasons, I had to relocate from Russia to Spain. When I expressed my stance against the war in Ukraine in an open letter to Putin, it caught the attention of the Russian police, closing any chance of returning to my homeland.

Remarkably, I discovered a new artistic language in my new country. I delved into the world of tapestry, studying at Casa Aymat in Sant Cugat del Valles, near Barcelona. In my workshop there, I built two weaving machines and started to work on larger textile pieces. However, I still enjoy switching from the meditative weaving process to more spontaneous media like oil painting, creating 3D objects, or installations
